The Prep year at Toowoomba Christian College is an intentional beginning to each child’s school journey, providing a strong foundation of learning, and a supportive community that partners with each child and their family throughout their schooling years.
Prep is a wonderful year of growing and learning, and provides important foundational experiences. At this stage of development, learning focuses on knowledge, facts and content, training students in basic thinking skills alongside some self-expression and self-discovery.
Recognising the different pace of development for our youngest school learners, we embrace a quality, play-based learning approach to education. Our Prep students engage with fun, constructive and exploratory activities on a daily basis, providing engaging, hands-on experiences that help them to absorb and enjoy their learning.
Our unique Prep program provides an essential foundation for the beginning of each child’s school journey, growing young and confident learners who are empowered to discover more about the world around them.
